Hello, rich girlies. Welcome to a new episode where we're gonna talk about what is really happening when you are showing up, you're doing all the things, and you are not seeing the results that you want, and you are getting frustrated as fuck. Now I know where you are coming from. I have been there multiple times. I want you to know that this is a rite of passage. And the thing I always say is business, having your own business is absolutely fucking amazing, because you can create a life that most people cannot even imagine. The results, the payoff is so worth it, but it's not easy. It's not always going to be rainbows and butterflies, because if it were, everyone would do it. There's a reason why a lot of people start and quit. A lot of people can't stick with it, because they don't have the mental toughness, the grit, the perseverance you need in business, because it is truly a roller coaster. One of the first books that I read when I started my first online business was the entrepreneur roller coaster by Darren Hardy, and I highly recommend listening or reading to that book. I listened to it. We actually moved. We were moving at the time, and I got the audiobook, and I listened to that book the entire day that I was packing and then unpacking. And so I finished it, I think in a day and a half. I just listened to it straight through, and it made such an impact on my business, because from the start, I knew that there were going to be really high highs, but really low lows. And being able to maintain your positivity and your vision and your belief and continue to show up during the lows is what matters. Anyone can keep performing and stay positive when everything's going well, when you are making money and making sales and you're at the top, but when you're at the bottom and nothing is working, and you are so frustrated, that's when most people quit. But if you have the right mindset, you will keep going, and then you will reach the high. But it is a roller coaster, and so most people can't stick with it. They can't emotionally handle the highs and lows, but you you're here, you're listening to this, you're different. You're not a quitter. You're not going to give up. You are going to stick with it. So let's talk about what is really happening when you are experiencing those lows, and maybe you haven't experienced a high in a long time or ever. But let's talk about it. So this episode is going to be a mixture between mindset, manifestation and strategy. Those are the three things that I utilize, and what I teach my students, what I coach my clients on, because you really need all three. You're going to be so mad at me for saying this is that you need patience. Okay? Patience. What I'm seeing in the online space is this surge of digital marketers entering the space because of MRR and PLR and I did a whole podcast episode on this, but these are products that you can buy, turn around and resell as your own for 100% profit. And so this is easy, because for years, I have been teaching women how to create their own online offers and the resistance that I face. Cases, but ash, I have nothing to teach. I don't know what anybody would even buy from me. What am who am I to teach? Anything? I'm just a stay at home mom or I don't have the time, I don't have the energy to create something of my own. So these done for you, products that you can sell hit the market, and tons of people are now getting into the space because it's easy. They don't have to create something of their own. They can just buy this, turn around and resell it. But what's happening is they are expecting quick wins. They are expecting quick cash, quick money. And there are people experiencing quick wins, for sure. There are complete beginners making tons of money, but they are the outliers. The majority of complete beginners are not seeing such quick wins, and they're becoming frustrated and then quitting and giving up. And when I go into threads, I don't know how I got onto this side of threads, but it's the digital marketing side of threads where everybody is just complaining about digital marketing and how they feel scammed and they're not having success, and it's just such a negative space, and it drives me crazy, because it takes time. Anything worth having or building takes time, and people just expect these quick wins. And yes, I am somebody who markets this as like, you can do it in two hours a day, because I do, but I've been doing it for a while, and I really never tell beginners, hey, you can do it in two hours a day. I say, you know, if you're in network marketing, this is easy for you. If you've already been in business, this will take you less than two hours a day. If you're not a complete beginner, it will take you less than two hours a day. If you are a complete beginner, common sense just tells you it's going to take more time because you don't know anything. You're learning everything from scratch. But it's also like, I like to use this example of if a fitness coach says, I lost 50 pounds counting macros, you are not going to say, oh, okay, well, if I start counting macros, I'm going to lose 50 pounds immediately. No, you know. Well, I could start counting macros and doing what she does, but it might take me longer. It's going to take a while to lose 50 pounds, because she has been doing it for a while. She knows what she's doing. She has a handle on it. I don't have to learn these things, and it's going to be a learning curve. It's just common sense that it's going to take a little bit of time. So what's happening is so many people are coming into the online space expecting quick results, and they're getting frustrated when they're not seeing them, and it takes time. You have to have patience. When I started my first online business, it took me 10 months to make $10,000.10

months to make $10,000 and people are coming into this space and quitting because they haven't made $10,000 in their second month. And it's like it's gonna take time, so you have to have patience, but maybe you've been in the game for a while. Okay, you're not a complete beginner, and you're like, Ashly, I'm doing all the things, I'm showing up, I'm putting in the work, I'm putting in the time, and I'm just not seeing the results. Are you giving whatever you're selling enough time? And I have made this mistake so many times, where I would launch something, I would talk about it, and then I'd be like, Oh, well, it's not selling. Like nobody wants it, and so I'd give up on it. And in hindsight, I didn't give it enough time, I didn't talk about it enough I didn't send enough emails, I didn't do enough stories, I didn't talk about it in my feed enough for it to sell. People underestimate how much you have to talk about something in order for it to sell. Did you do some sort of pre launch prep? Listen to my last episode to learn what you should be doing before you launch an offer in order to get people interested. So did you give it enough time attention? Did you give it what it needed to actually sell. And if you are currently showing up, and you're like, Ashly, I'm doing all the things, like, ask yourself, Am I doing all the things? Could I be promoting this more? Could I be showing up more? Am I hitting pain points? Am I? And what I always like to do is a mixture of pain point marketing and desire marketing, because people either buy out of desperation or inspiration. So I want to hit the people who are desperate. They're at a low, they're like, I need a change right now. And they also want to hit the people who aren't in that situation, but they want better. They want more. They want a different outcome. They just want to elevate and so I like to alternate my marketing between those. Are you being specific enough in your marketing? Are you going all out. So you have to have an honest conversation with yourself and say, like, aunt, can I post more? Can I show up? I'm posting once a day. Can I post two times a day? Three times a day? It's okay to have seasons where you go all the fucking and I think that's what so many people are hesitant to do. They think like, well, if I start increasing my output, I have to maintain that, and you don't. You can have seasons where you go all in and you post more, you email more, you show up more, and then after you have hit your goal, you've built some momentum. You can scale it back. But if you're posting inconsistently, if you're not selling in your stories every single. Fucking day. Okay? I just had three calls the today, this morning, all morning, I've been on back to back to back calls, and every single one was like, wow, Ashly, you sell in your stories every day. I can't do that. Like I'm too afraid to do that. And I'm like, why are you too afraid to do that? Does target ever say Nope, we're not gonna promote anything today. We're not selling. Does Amazon ever say? Nope. Sites down today. Nobody's allowed or we can't sell that's sleazy. We can't show anybody that we have offers. They can't buy anything here. No, you are a business. If you want to make money, get out of your own way. Stop holding yourself back because you're worried that people might think you're salesy when you are trying to sell something. And my perspective is I want new followers to find me every day. I want new people to stumble on my page, begin following me and check my stories. And if they're brand new, they don't know what I'm selling. It's my job to tell them, hey, here's what I'm offering. So every day in my stories, I will have multiple sales slides. I will say, if you want to achieve XYZ, I have three options for you. Option one, option two, option three, multiple story slides that sell my different offers. Because as people come into my world, I immediately want them to know what I have to offer and how I can help them. So you need to show up. Be bold. Take up space. Let people know what you are offering, and don't be shy about it. So really sit down and ask yourself, like, Am I doing the work? Am I doing enough, or do I need to do more? Now if you do, you do need to do more than do it show the fuck up like you you're gonna have to make sacrifices in order to get your business going and off the ground. I did this at the beginning, and I have seasons all throughout the year where there's times where I have to put in more work. I'll stay up later. I stay up late every night after I get my kids to bed, is when I do my work. I stay up late after my kids go to bed. I'm exhausted, but I'm like, This is how I run a business. Like this is what I have to do. I don't wake up early because my kids wake up early, so I would have no alone time, so have to stay up late, but you have to figure out what your sacrifice is going to be in order to get your business going, in order to get some momentum. And then, as I said, you can scale it back. If you are doing all the things and you're like, Ashly, I'm sacrificing, I'm showing up like there's no more I could possibly do, then the next part of this episode is really going to be helpful for you. So just keep listening. And if you are not doing all the things, I want you to start doing all the things, but also pay attention to this next part, because this next part is key. It is basically the secret that most people miss. All right, there's a few secrets. So the first one is you have to be patient, like I said, But you have to believe that it is coming. You have to believe that it is all working out, especially if you're doing all the things, if you're showing up, you're going all out, you're giving it your all. You have to trust and believe that it's going to happen. And there are two analogies that I like to use. First one is, if you order a pizza, you call you order a pizza, they say, okay, it'll be delivered in an hour. You know, okay, my pizza is coming in an hour. You're gonna sit down, you're gonna have a Diet Coke or wine or a beer, you're gonna put on a show, you're gonna hang out and you're gonna wait for your pizza. You're not going to be freaking out and being like, Oh my God, my God, my pizza is not coming. I should order something else. What if it doesn't come? Oh my gosh, this is a failure. I shouldn't have ordered pizza. No, you're gonna be like, okay, my pizza's coming. But you also know that even though they said it was going to be there in an hour, it might come sooner, or it might take longer. You know that, so you chill. You're not freaking out. The same with going through a drive thru. Say, you go to Starbucks, and you place your order for your vanilla mocha frappuccino with caramel and oat milk. And you know, whatever it is, and you know that there are cars in front of you, so you're like, Okay, I ordered my drink, but it's gonna be a while, because there's some cars in front of me. They're making my drink. But when I get up to that window, I'm gonna get my drink. You don't even question whether or not you're gonna get your drink. You know, when you get to the window, they're going to hand you that exact drink that you ordered. But you don't know how long it's going to take, because they might be backed up, so it might take longer, or these people all may have just ordered black coffee, and you're going to speed through that drive thru and get your coffee sooner. But you don't doubt it, and so that is how you have to show up, with your manifestations, with your business, you have to do the work and ask for what you want and be very clear and intentional about what it is you want. You're placing an order. You call and you're like, give me a pizza. Okay, you don't know what you're gonna get, but if you call and you're like, I would like a large pizza with extra cheese, black olives, green peppers, you know what you're asking for, you know what you're going to get now, you sit back and you wait for it. The biggest thing I see is people just are constantly flip flopping because they have this idea of what they want, but they're not patient enough. They don't believe that they're going to get it. So I want you to treat everything in your business as like. Here's what I want. I'm gonna place the order, I'm gonna do the work to get it, and I'm gonna sit back and I'm gonna wait for it. I'm gonna trust and believe it's coming. You might get a surprise thrown at you. You might order that pizza, and there might be mushrooms on it. They might have added mushrooms by accident. And initially you might be like, What the fuck I didn't want mushrooms. But then you try that and you're like, Oh, the mushrooms are good. Like, I like the mushrooms on here, right? So we don't always get exactly what we want. Sometimes we get something better. Sometimes we get what we need instead of what we asked for. But if you go through life with the belief that I am doing the work, I put in my order, I placed my order, and I know that it's coming. You will feel so much more at peace, and you will find that you get what you ask for sooner. It's all about belief. It's all about what you are telling yourself day in and day out. So that brings me to this second point. Is like you have to be con constantly delusional in telling yourself that everything's working out for me. So here are some things that I literally am repeating to myself all day long. My name is Ashly Locklin, and only good things happen to me. I am so fucking lucky. I get everything I want. Money is constantly flowing to me, just like air flows to me. Money flows to me. People find me and immediately buy from me. Everything works out in my favor. Those are just a few of the things that I'm literally all day repeating to myself because your subconscious thoughts were developed when you were a child. There's research that shows before the age of seven. So a lot of times, you know, we look at our parents and how they talked about money and the beliefs we had about money as child, and they and they impact us now, and then we look for physical proof in our environment. We're like, well, I didn't get an email saying someone bought. You're refreshing your Instagram feed every five seconds to be like, somebody comment on my posts. Are they going to buy from you? You're checking your DMS, and you're looking for physical proof, and you're not seeing it. So then you're telling yourself, I suck. This isn't working out. Nobody's buying. Nobody likes me, and that's what you get. Your thoughts are so powerful. Every thought you have is basically an order that you're putting in to your Creator. And so every negative thought you're saying you're just gonna get more of that, but if you drown out the negative doubts and fears and thoughts with positive ones, and you're constantly just telling yourself that you are fucking amazing and money is coming to you and everything is working out for you, you are going to one show up in a whole different way. You're gonna have more confidence, more conviction. You're gonna have a smile on your face if you can believe it before it's true, then it's going to be true sooner, because you are just going to emit a higher frequency. You're going to operate at a higher frequency. You're going to be a person that people are just drawn to because you're happy and you're smiling. Think about as you go through life, say, you go into a grocery store and there's one person who's mean and miserable and looks really down and mad, and then there's other person who is just has this huge smile and is making people laugh. You know, they're at the deli, and the deli workers are laughing, and you're like, oh, what's going over there? On over there. Like, that's a vibe. I want to be over there with those people. Like, that's fun. Look at all these people having fun. Or do you wanna hang out with the Debbie downer, who's mean and miserable? So you need to go through life with a smile on your face believing that the best day of your life is today, and that only good things are happening to you, and that every piece of content you put out into the world is gonna reach the right person, and people are gonna buy from you, and everything is working out. So you have to reprogram your mind, you have to constantly be drowning out the negatives and just believing and telling yourself the positives that is so, so important. So you place your order in the drive through, and then as you're sitting there waiting, you could sit there and be like, What the fuck? What's taking so long? Why am I not getting what I want? Like, this sucks. I should have went somewhere else. Or you could be like, Okay, I'm just gonna sit here and I'm gonna think about how lucky I am that I have the money to go through this drive through, that I have the money to spend $8 on a coffee. Oh, my favorite song is on the radio or, Oh, I'll put on my favorite podcast. It's all in how you choose to go through life. And when you vibrate at a higher frequency, you attract more money, you attract more people to you. You attract more joy and love and luck than when you are vibrating at a lower frequency. So you cannot go through life constantly being miserable and thinking that nothing's working out for you and you're doing the work and it's not working. You have to have patience and believe that everything you're doing is adding up. And behind the scenes, things are unfolding, things are rearranging, and it's all going to happen. You just have to wait till you pull up to that window or the driver comes to your door and says, Here's your pizza. And this next tip is that you have to become the person who is capable of achieving that goal. And this is what most. People miss they're like, I have this goal to make $20,000 a month. And so they focus on strategy, and they are just like, I gotta work, work, work. I gotta put out more content, just as I was saying earlier. Like, are you doing all the things? So they focus on the work, but they neglect themselves and who they truly are. And what you have to remember is your mind and your body. They're interconnected. So if you're just using your mind, my mind to work, work, work, but you're neglecting your body, then there was some sort of disconnect. Every time my business has suffered, has suffered, it's because I just focused on work and neglected myself. And it's when I had these aha moments of like, well, Ashly, you're not taking care of yourself. You need to start taking care of yourself, because nobody's gonna pay you to help them if you can't even take care of yourself, right? So when I would make a shift and be like, okay, instead of spending 30 minutes on my business, I'm gonna spend 30 minutes working out, that's when I would see my business come back to life. Every dip I've had has been because I let go of me, I stopped prioritizing me, to focus on my business, and then my business just went further downhill. So what you have to do is you have to figure out who is my highest self. What does she look like? How does she act? How does she take care of herself? Does she work out? Does she eat healthy? What does she wear? How does she walk around with her shoulders back and her back straight, her head held high, or is she slumped over, wearing baggy sweats with holes in them, just like schluffing around, you know? So you have to realize that in order to achieve the goals you want to achieve, it's probably not who you are right now. The person you are right now is incapable of achieving the big goals that you have. And when I learned this, it was like, wow, my mind exploded, because who you are now is not capable of achieving those big goals. It's who you become along the way, what you learn, how you grow, how you evolve, how you adapt, how you change, how you hold yourself to a higher standard. So if you think about yourself at your peak success, it's probably a different version of you right now, it's probably somebody who is showing up to life in a different way, prioritizing herself and her needs and investing in herself, hiring mentors, getting help, like doing whatever it is that she needs to do. So instead of asking yourself, How do I achieve this goal? What more can I do to achieve this goal? How many more emails can I send? I want you to ask yourself, How can I become the woman who can achieve this goal? How can I grow and evolve into the woman who does have these things? Who is this person that is what you need to focus on, is becoming the woman who is capable of achieving your goals. So take a look at where you are right now, and what you can elevate, what you can change, how you can grow to become your higher self. So if you are doing all the things and you're just not seeing success in your business, it's probably not the strategy you have or the work you're doing. It's probably that you're in your own way, and that your mindset is fucking you up. Your mindset is holding you back. The limiting beliefs that you have that, oh, I'm not capable of this. I'm not worthy of this. It's easier for others. I started too late. I'm not pretty enough, I'm not clever enough, whatever it is, I'm too busy. My kids keep me busy. I mean, I always am trying to fight that excuse of like I could be doing so much more if I had more energy to show up and look better, I would have more success. But my kids have me so tired, like it's not that I am above these things, like I still struggle with these things every single day, but what I'm constantly telling myself when I see myself struggling in business is okay. I need to take a step back from the strategy, like the strategy is great, like I got the strategy of showing up and doing all the things. But how can I work on me and my mindset more? How can I spend more time just clearing my mind and thinking about what it is I want, why I want it, what I'm going to do with it, and then also feeling it in your body. So this is so important. Whenever I say these things of like, I'm Ashly Locklin and only good things happen to me. Money is constantly flowing to me. I'm just not saying these and repeating them. I'm truly feeling them in my body. Like I feel as though I just got a payment for $1 million like I in my body. My body is tingling. I want to jump up and down and fist pump and just be crazy. I generate that energy and that feeling in my body every single time, all throughout the day that I'm repeating these things to me verbally and just silently in my mind, I'm also feeling them, but I work really hard on trying to focus on the positives and what I want and believing and trusting that it's all coming, and it does another thing that I'm always telling myself is I receive money in expected and unexpected ways every single day, and I do it's crazy when when you and this is why I'm not a fan of reverse engineering. I'm not somebody who's very logical. And on one of my one Oh. On calls today, the girl has ADHD. And I was like, Oh, I

believe that I have ADHD because I have like, every literal, simple symptom. And she's like, I think people with ADHD are more successful because we are more delusional. We're able to be more delusional instead of logical. And I was like, That is so true. I you know, you cannot be logical. In business, you cannot sit down and try to put a chokehold on where every dollar is going to come from and how your money is going to work out. Instead, I know I don't reverse engineer and I'll do those things because I just believe that I'm showing up, I'm putting in the work. I am attracting, what I want to attract, and it's all gonna work out for me. And so every day I do receive money from unexpected places, like, I'll get an email that's like, Hey, don't, don't forget that you're an affiliate for such and such a program, and you have to withdraw money from your account. I'm like, I didn't even remember about that. Even think about that. Like, what? And it's so funny how, like, every day I will get these little, little money wins that were unexpected. So anyway, if you are struggling in business, what I want you to do is have an honest review of your output, like, are you actually doing all the things you need to do to be successful? Number two, are you becoming the woman who is capable of achieving those goals? Are you holding yourself to a higher standard? Are you taking care of yourself, mentally, physically, emotionally, nutritionally? Are you asking for what you want? Are you putting orders out into the universe, asking God, asking spirit, asking the universe, you know, whatever you believe in, for what you want, and then believing that it is going to come, or are you freaking out and not believing that it's going to come? Because if you waver there, if you ask for what you want, and you put in the work, and then you waver and you're like, it's not coming. It's not coming. It's not going to but if you pretend you're in a drive through and you put your order in and you patiently wait and know it's coming, then you're going to get it. There's so much more to business than just strategy. The mindset part is so important, and the manifestation part is also a huge, huge part of this.
